Virtual Lecture and Learning Lab
This FREE certification course explores the basic components found in most robotic platforms with an emphasis on how to make mobile robots move in effective, safe, and predictable ways. Topics include an introduction to microcontrollers, mechatronics, and programming, to name a few. The discussion also touches on advanced topics such as artificial intelligence and the future of robotics. The course primarily focuses on mobile robots as the target application including ground robots and bipedal, humanoid robots.
The class consists of written topical guides with supporting audio and video aides. The course consists of 10 lessons (with individual topics in each) and a quiz at the end of each lesson. There is also a comprehensive final exam.
